How to Use DYR

Everything you need to get started — from setting up your first building to generating PDF reports.

Install the Application

Download the DYR installer for Windows (.exe) or install the Android APK on your device. Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps — DYR is ready in under a minute.

Log In to Your Account

On first launch you'll see the login screen. Enter your username and password provided by your administrator. Session security ensures only one active session per user at a time.

🔒DYR uses single-device session enforcement — logging in on a new device automatically logs you out elsewhere.

Explore the Dashboard

The Dashboard greets you with a live overview of your entire portfolio. You'll see KPI cards for Total Units, Active Contracts, Total Clients, and Collected Revenue. Quickly spot overdue installments and upcoming payments.

Configure Company Settings

Go to Settings to add your company name, logo, currency, and language (Arabic or English). This branding appears on all generated PDFs and receipts.

Add a Building

Navigate to the Properties tab. Click the + button to create a new building. Give it a name — DYR will manage all units within it.

Add Units Manually or via Excel

Inside the building, tap the + button to add individual units with: Unit ID, Floor, Area (m²), View, Base Price, Finished Price, and Status. For large projects, import an Excel sheet to bulk-add hundreds of units instantly.

Manage Unit Status

Each unit shows its live status: Available (blue), Offered (grey), Contracted (dark), or Locked (red). Status updates automatically when an offer or contract is created.

Bulk Price Update

Need to increase prices across a building? Use the Bulk Price Update feature to apply a percentage change to all available units in one click. Undo is available if needed.

Add a New Client

Go to the Clients tab and click the + button. Fill in: Full Name, National ID, Phone Number, Email, and any notes. Each client gets a unique ID in the system.

Import Clients from Excel

Have an existing client list? Import it directly from an Excel file. DYR maps columns automatically and prevents duplicate entries.

Joint Purchasers & Guarantors

When creating an offer or contract, you can add joint purchasers (co-owners) and a guarantor — all linked to existing clients in your database. Their names appear on all printed documents.

Create an Offer

Go to Offers → click New Offer. Select the client and the unit. DYR auto-fills the unit details and price.

Configure the Payment Plan

Set: Discount Percentage, Reservation Amount, Down Payment, Number of Years, Installment Frequency (Monthly / Quarterly / Semi-Annual / Annual). DYR calculates the full installment schedule automatically.

Flash Fill instantly regenerates the installment plan if you change any parameters.

Record Offer Payments

Add reservation payments or down payment installments directly within the offer. Each payment records: Amount, Date, Method (Cash / Cheque / Transfer), Bank, and Cheque Number.

Print Offer Quotation

Generate a professional PDF quotation showing the full payment plan — branded with your company logo and details — ready to share with the client.

Convert Offer to Contract

Once an offer is finalized, click "Convert to Contract". DYR creates the official contract, locks the unit, and generates the full installment schedule — automatically triggering commission calculations for the sales agent.

Manage Active Contracts

All contracts are listed with client name, unit, total price, and status. Open any contract to view the complete payment plan, make updates, or take actions.

Resale a Unit

If a client wishes to sell their unit to another buyer, use the Resale function — it terminates the original contract and creates a new one for the incoming client, preserving payment history.

Print Contract Statement

Generate a full contract statement PDF: client details, unit info, total price, payment plan, paid amounts, and remaining balance — formatted professionally in Arabic or English.

View All Installments

The Installments tab shows every installment across all contracts. Filter by: building, date range, overdue status, payment method, or collection status.

Record a Payment

Click any installment to open it. Record a full or partial payment with: Amount, Date, Payment Method (Cash / Cheque / Bank Transfer), Bank Name, Cheque Number. Attach a photo or file as proof.

💵Partial payments are fully supported — the installment status updates to "Partially Paid" automatically.

Send WhatsApp Reminder

For any overdue installment, tap the WhatsApp button — DYR generates a pre-written reminder message with the client's name, due amount, and date. One tap sends it directly through WhatsApp.

Print Payment Receipt

After any payment, print a branded PDF receipt showing the installment details, amount paid, payment method, and running payment history for that installment.

Inventory Report

Get a full building inventory snapshot: total units, available vs contracted vs offered, total value of available stock. Export to PDF or Excel.

Overdue Installments Report

Filter all overdue and upcoming installments across all buildings. Export the report to Excel for follow-up sessions with your collections team.

Is DYR available for iOS / iPhone?
Currently DYR is available for Windows Desktop and Android. An iOS version is on our roadmap for a future release.
Can multiple users work at the same time?
Yes — DYR supports multiple user accounts. Each user has their own login, and the cloud sync ensures all data is consistent across all active users simultaneously.
Is my data secure and backed up?
All data is stored in Supabase — a secured, encrypted cloud database with automatic backups. Your data is safe even if a device is lost or damaged.
Does DYR work in Arabic?
Yes — DYR fully supports Arabic (RTL) and English. Switch language at any time from Settings. All PDF reports are generated in your chosen language with proper Arabic typography.
How do I get updates?
DYR updates automatically in the background. When a new version is ready, you'll see a notification and the app updates seamlessly without interrupting your work.
Can I import existing data from Excel?
Absolutely. DYR supports Excel import for: Units, Clients, Contracts, Installments, and Sales Teams. You can migrate your existing data in minutes.
